Day 10 – Two weeks and counting

Where does the time go? I’ve done 2 weeks already. So far so good. Had work drinks tonight but had to duck out after 1 as had dinner with American business partners over from New York. 3 of them, 1 of me, a really nice evening. Started with drinks at their hotel then on to a great French restaurant in Belgravia. I had salmon terrine, filet of beef with lovely thick cut salty chips, then crème brulee. They ordered champagne and then wine. A profoundly convivial evening.

Work is mega busy but I’m enjoying it which is the main thing.

Glad tomorrow is the weekend, looking forward to relaxing and recharging.
