Call me Miss Havisham

The lavish new BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens Great Expectations airs on the 27th December. Having (re-)read the book earlier this year – I’m looking forward to it.

Gillian Anderson is Miss Havisham, Ray Winstone is Magwitch and David Suchet is Jaggers. Douglas Booth is Pip (he was in Worried About The Boy, the Boy George biopic, that I wrote about in May last year).
